United for Freedoms LDF, a program of the Urban Justice Center, provides organizations and individuals facing litigation and other government actions that threaten their rights with financial and technical support to pay for the legal defense they need.

For nonprofit organizations and individuals whose civil and human rights are under attack, we can help pay for legal services and can even help find an attorney.

Who We Fund

We're nonpartisan. Party affiliation doesn't matter to us when deciding whether to award funding.
